    1. Global Skills Academy (GSA) is committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professionally focused learning environment that supports skill development, collaboration, personal growth, and lifelong learning.
    2. This Community Code of Conduct establishes the expectations for participation in Global Skills Academy courses, programs, live sessions, online communities, events, credential pathways, and digital platforms.
    3. By participating in GSA offerings, learners agree to uphold the standards outlined in this Code.
  • Scope
    1. This Code applies to all individuals participating in:
      1. Global Skills Academy courses and programs
      2. Live virtual sessions and workshops
      3. Community forums and discussion spaces
      4. Mentoring and coaching activities
      5. Digital learning platforms
      6. Events, webinars, and networking activities
      7. Credential and certification pathways
    2. This Code applies regardless of geographic location and includes all interactions conducted through Frontier-managed systems and learning environments.
    3. Participation in Global Skills Academy offerings is subject to the eligibility requirements outlined in Frontier’s Terms of Use.
    4. This Community Code of Conduct should be read together with Frontier’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Academic Policies, and other applicable institutional policies. Where a more specific policy governs a particular matter, that policy shall take precedence. 
  • Who we are
    1. Frontier Institute of Technology – Global Skills Academy (“Frontier”, “Institute”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is an educational institution headquartered in Wyoming, United States of America.
    2. Frontier provides educational programs, professional development courses, certifications, academic support services, learning management systems, learner communities, and related educational services through its digital platforms and institutional operations.
    3. Frontier acts as the controller of personal data collected through its websites, learning platforms, learner information systems (SIS), support systems, and related services.
  • Community Expectations
    1. Global Skills Academy is built on a foundation of professionalism, respect, curiosity, and collaboration.
    2. Learners are expected to:
      1. Treat fellow learners, facilitators, mentors, instructors, guest speakers, and staff with courtesy and respect
      2. Contribute constructively to discussions and collaborative activities
      3. Support an inclusive learning environment that values diverse perspectives and experiences
      4. Communicate professionally in all written, verbal, and digital interactions
      5. Engage honestly and ethically in learning activities
      6. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others
      7. Follow applicable Frontier policies and program requirements
  • Learning Integrity
    1. Global Skills Academy credentials are intended to represent genuine learning and demonstrated achievement.
    2. Learners are expected to submit work that accurately reflects their own understanding, contributions, and competency development.
    3. Examples of  misconduct include
      1. Presenting another person’s work as one’s own
      2. Purchasing or commissioning work for submission
      3. Falsifying information, records, or supporting documentation
      4. Impersonating another individual or permitting another individual to act on one’s behalf
      5. Misrepresenting participation, achievement, or credential eligibility
      6. Using unauthorized materials or assistance during assessments
      7. Misrepresenting authorship of submitted work
      8. Where assessments are used to support credential issuance, learners are expected to comply with all applicable assessment requirements.
  1. Learners remain responsible for all submitted work regardless of whether AI tools, third parties, or external resources were used in its preparation.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    1. Global Skills Academy recognizes the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning and professional practice.
    2. Learners may use AI tools where permitted by program requirements and instructional guidance.
    3. Learners remain fully responsible for:
      1. The accuracy of all submitted work
      2. Verifying information generated by AI systems
      3. Following program-specific requirements regarding AI use
      4. Disclosing AI use where required
      5. Demonstrating personal understanding of submitted work
    4. The use of AI to misrepresent authorship, competency, participation, or achievement may result in corrective action and may affect credential eligibility.
  • Respectful Conduct
    1. The following behaviors are prohibited within Global Skills Academy learning environments:
      1. Harassment.
      2. Bullying.
      3. Discrimination.
      4. Threats or intimidation.
      5. Hate speech.
      6. Retaliation.
      7. Sexual harassment or misconduct.
      8. Deliberate disruption of learning activities
      9. Misuse of Frontier platforms, systems, or communities.
      10. Sharing offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
      11. Conduct that creates an unsafe, hostile, or intimidating environment.
    2. Professional disagreement and respectful debate are welcome. Personal attacks, abusive behavior, and disruptive conduct are not.
    3. Frontier reserves the right to take immediate action where behavior presents a threat to the safety, wellbeing, security, or integrity of learners, staff, systems, or the institution.
    4. Learners may not post, distribute, or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited under Frontier’s Terms of Use.
  • Technology and Digital Conduct
    1. Learners must use Frontier technology resources responsibly and ethically. 
    2. Learners may not:
      1. Access systems without authorization.
      2. Share accounts or passwords.
      3. Circumvent security controls.
      4. Introduce malware or harmful software.
      5. Engage in fraudulent activity.
      6. Copy, distribute, or misuse Frontier learning materials without authorization.
      7. Use institutional systems for unlawful purposes.
    3. Frontier reserves the right to monitor community spaces, learning platforms, and institutional systems to maintain safety, security, academic integrity, and compliance with applicable policies.
    4. Learners must comply with applicable usage requirements for Frontier-approved third-party platforms used in connection with learning activities.
  • Community and Live Session Participation
    1. Many Global Skills Academy offerings include discussion forums, collaborative activities, networking opportunities, and live virtual sessions.
    2. Learners are expected to:
      1. Participate respectfully and professionally
      2. Allow others the opportunity to contribute
      3. Remain on topic during discussions and events
      4. Avoid promotional, spam, or solicitation activities unless specifically authorized
      5. Respect the facilitator’s role in managing discussions and learning activities
      6. Display an appropriate name
      7. Use professional language
      8. Use your camera and microphone appropriately
      9. Respectful use of chat features
      10. No recording without permission
    3. To support flexible access for learners across time zones, certain live sessions may be recorded and made available to enrolled learners. Participation in recorded sessions may result in a learner’s name, comments, questions, or contributions being included in the recording.
  • Intellectual Property and Learning Materials
    1. Course materials, recordings, resources, assessments, and learning content provided through Global Skills Academy are protected by intellectual property laws and licensing agreements.
    2. Unless otherwise permitted, learners may not:
      1. Reproduce course materials for commercial purposes
      2. Redistribute proprietary learning materials
      3. Share restricted content outside authorized learning environments
      4. Record or distribute live sessions without permission
    3. Learners retain ownership of their original work unless otherwise specified.
    4. By participating in collaborative activities, learners grant Frontier a limited non-exclusive right to display submitted content within learning environments for educational purposes.
  • Learner Records and Privacy
    1. Learners are expected to respect the privacy of fellow participants, facilitators, mentors, and staff.
    2. Learners may not:
      1. Share confidential information obtained through programs or community activities without authorization
      2. Access another person’s account or records
      3. Disclose private learner information without permission
      4. The collection and use of personal information is governed by Frontier’s Privacy Policy.
    3. Frontier Institute maintains learner educational records in accordance with applicable laws and institutional policies.
    4. Learners are expected to respect the privacy rights of other learners and may not access, disclose, or distribute confidential information without authorization.
  • Reporting Concerns
    1. Learners are encouraged to report concerns involving:
      1. Academic misconduct.
      2. Harassment or discrimination.
      3. Fraud or misrepresentation.
      4. Safety concerns.
      5. Violations of institutional policies.
    2. Reports may be submitted through Freshdesk.
    3. Frontier prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern, participates in an investigation, or assists in resolving a policy violation. 
    4. Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or malicious reports may itself constitute a violation of this Code.
  • Corrective and Disciplinary Action
    1. Frontier may investigate alleged violations and may take interim action while an investigation is underway.
    2. Violations of this Code may result in one or more corrective or disciplinary actions, including:
      1. Informal coaching or guidance.
      2. Verbal or written warnings.
      3. Removal from a discussion, event, or community activity
      4. Restricted access to services or platforms.
      5. Suspension from a course or credential pathway.
      6. Removal from platform access
      7. Revocation of eligibility for a credential or certification
      8. Permanent dismissal from Global Skills Academy offerings
      9. Referral to external authorities where required by law.
    3. The nature of any action will depend on the severity, impact, frequency, and circumstances of the violation.
  • Learner Complaints and Appeals
    1. Learners have the right to raise complaints, grievances, or appeals in accordance with Frontier policies.
    2. Learners should first seek resolution through the appropriate instructor, facilitator, mentor, or staff member. If a matter cannot be resolved informally, learners may submit a formal complaint through Frontier Learner Services.
    3. Formal appeals relating to disciplinary or academic decisions will be managed in accordance with Frontier’s established appeals procedures.
    4. Learners are encouraged to address minor misunderstandings respectfully and professionally where appropriate. Frontier may facilitate resolution processes when interpersonal conflicts affect the learning environment.
